K2QO/qrp Wins CQWW VHF Hilltopper

The 2009 running of the CQWW VHF contest results are posted and certificates have been mailed. K2QO/qrp entered the Hilltopper category and finished #1 North America. This category allows for qrp operation in any 6 hour contiguous block of time as chosen by the contestant. Will there be a title defense?

Thanks to all club members who stopped by to provide a Q or two. Every contact helps.

The 2010 running of the Minnesota QSO party saw to o WNYDXA’s finest members finish 1st and 2nd in the Single Op Low Power Category. N2CU took first with 267Q/86Mults for nearly 86k points. Paul was right behind with 222Q/84 Mults and 38k points. Super job!
